Deputies arrest 3 men in Pattentown Road shooting
HAMILTON COUNTY, Tenn. (WDEF) — Hamilton County sheriff’s deputies arrested three Ooltewah men for a dispute that involved a shooting.
The sheriff’s office arrested 50-year-old James Edward Bragg, 29-year-old Dalton Dakota Hardy and 41-year-old Curtis Wayne Randolph.
It happened on May 27 at the Trading Post on Pattentown Road, HCSO said.
Hamilton County authorities said there had been an ongoing dispute between Hardy and Randolph. The two had an altercation inside the Trading Post, exited the store and then Bragg arrived.
The sheriff’s office said things escalated once Bragg arrived and he “brandished a stick.”
HCSO also said Randolph shot Bragg in his leg in self-defense. First responders took Bragg to a hospital, treated him and released him.
Additionally, they said Hardy’s actions caused damage to a vehicle that Randolph was in.
All three men were arrested and now face charges. Those are as follows.
