Detectives charge wife with fatally shooting husband

CLEVELAND, Tennessee (WDEF) – Bradley County investigators have charged a wife with shooting her husband Sunday night.

Britany M. Taylor called 911 around 10:30 p.m. to report that she had shot him during a disagreement at their home on Old Parksville Road.

When officers arrived, they found 49-year-old Mike Brian Taylor had been shot to death.

Detectives spent several hours at the crime scene before charging Britany Taylor with Second Degree Murder.

The investigation is continuing.
