Dinosaurs Take Over Camp Jordan
EAST RIDGE, Tenn. (WDEF) – Families can step back in time at Camp Jordan Arena in East Ridge for Jurassic Encounters, A Prehistoric Adventure.
The immersive experience transforms the arena into a prehistoric world filled with life-size dinosaurs, interactive exhibits, and hands-on activities for all ages.
The event spans more than 24,000 square feet, offering visitors a chance to dig for fossils, match bones, and piece together 3D skeleton puzzles.
Kids can meet baby dinosaurs up close and watch as realistic walking dinosaur puppets roam through the crowd, bringing ancient creatures to life in a fun and engaging way.
Along with the dino exhibits, guests can enjoy live entertainment throughout the weekend, including the Jurassic Bark comedic dog stunt show, featured on America’s Got Talent, performing on Sunday only.
Educational presentations, music, and special effects help teach audiences about the Cretaceous period, prehistoric environments, and how scientists study ancient life.
Families will also find plenty of photo opportunities, shopping vendors, and even an erupting volcano display.
Organizers say the event blends science, education, and entertainment to create an unforgettable experience that sparks curiosity in both kids and adults.
