Do you recognize Fort Oglethorpe arson suspect?

Investigators think he may behind a series of fires in the north Georgia area

FORT OGLETHORPE, Georgia (WDEF) – The Catoosa County Fire Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying an arson suspect from last night.

The fire happened just after midnight, early Wednesday morning in Fort Oglethorpe.

The video shows a man in a hoodie walking toward the back of the building at Lafayette Road and Riddle Street near the Cloud Springs Road intersection.

Then the man sets fire to a building on Lafayette Road.

Firefighters got the fire out before it did too much damage.. it burned the outside siding and part of the roof.

But they say this is the latest in a series of intentionally set fires in North Georgia.

Several homes in Lakeview and Rossville were set in the last few weeks, all late at night and all using accelerants on the outside.

There is a $10,000 reward offered for information leading to an arrest and conviction.
