Dog left tied to a guardrail in Chickamauga

CHICKAMAUGA, Georgia (WDEF) – Chickamauga Police are looking for the owner of a dog who was left tied to a guardrail out in the heat.

The dog was left in front of the Lee and Gordon Grist Mill on Red Belt Road on Friday between 10:30 and 11:20 in the morning.

They say the person who left the dog may have been driving an SUV.

Police are hoping the public will recognize the dog.
