Dogs facing euthanasia saved by local donors
UPDATE: The Murray County Animal Shelter has called off the euthanization of the group of dogs scheduled for today, and extended the deadline to Monday, August 19, 2024.
The shelter received 9 sponsored adoptions thanks to donations from citizens and businesses.
The shelter says they’re overwhelmed with all the support for these dogs.
Meet and greets for the dogs can be scheduled by appointment only over the weekend.

MURRAY COUNTY, Ga. (WDEF) — The Murray County Animal Shelter is asking for assistant with a group of dogs that need to be adopted or in a placement by 4:00 p.m. today, August 14, 2024.
These dogs face euthanasia if not rescued.
The adoption fee is lifted on every dog that is already neutered.
