Dolly gifts bookmarks, themepark tickets to celebrate Imagination Library
SEVIERVILLE, Tenn. (WDEF) — Dolly Parton is celebrating gifting her 200 millionth book as part of the Imagination Library program. To celebrate, she is sending special bookmarks in September to seven lucky people.
The organization will randomly hide seven bookmarks in Imagination Library books. Imagination Library will deliver these bookmarks during September, which is also International Literacy Month.
Those who find these bookmarks will receive the following:
- A video chat with Dolly,
- Personalized, signed letter from Dolly,
- An autographed photo from Dolly,
- Four Dollywood theme park tickets.
Anyone enrolled in the Imagination Library by July 31 has a chance to win.
Dolly Parton created the Imagination Library back in 1995. Because her dad was unable to read, she became inspired to give other children the opportunity to learn.
The Imagination Library donates one book each month to enrolled children, up to age five. The program is totally free and open to all in participating countries.
To sign up, click the enroll/check availability button on the Imagination Library website.
She gifts 2.4 million books each month, according to her website.
