Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library celebrates 200 million books gifted
seven lucky children will get to meet Dolly herself

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) – Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library is celebrating 200 million books gifted since the program began in 1995.
To celebrate- Dolly wanted to give back.
During International Literacy Month in September, Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library will randomly put seven enchanted Dolly Parton bookmarks into Imagination Library books.
“We have very special bookmarks that we’ve produced, and we’re going to hide them at random in some of the books that are going out in the month of September. If you’re a child or family that receives the book that month, with the special bookmark in it- you’re one of those lucky, lucky families. We’re gonna set up a time later this year for them to meet Dolly via Zoom. Then also, if they can make it over- we’ll invite him to come over and spend some time with us at Dollywood and just have a good time. There’s some other goodies in there too. But I think meeting dolly is probably the coolest thing, said President of the Dollywood foundation, Jeff Conyers.
Families who haven’t enrolled in the program can do so for their children between ages zero to five before July 31st to potentially snag an “enchanted bookmark.”
