Dominant Finish: Mocs Mens Basketball Secure 11th Straight Win, 91-70, at VMI

LEXINGTON, Virgina (WDEF)- The Chattanooga Mocs finished their remarkable regular season with a resounding 91-70 triumph over VMI, marking their 11th straight victory and tying a win streak last seen during the 1996-97 Sweet 16 season. This win secured a 15-3 SoCon record, the best since 2015-16 and the second-highest in program history.

Chattanooga’s 23-8 overall record was further enhanced by a program-record eight consecutive SoCon road wins. The Mocs’ offense sizzled, connecting on 17 three-pointers and dishing out 20 assists for the fifth time in six games, a program first.

Honor Huff’s 29 points, including seven threes, propelled him to third on the all-time UTC three-point list. Garrison Keeslar also contributed significantly with 14 points and a career-high four threes. As the top seed, the Mocs now set their sights on the SoCon Tournament in Asheville, facing the winner of the Mercer/Western Carolina matchup.
