Dread Hollow promises even more scares than the year before
Todd Patton and Josh Philpott join News 12’s Chip Chapman to preview this scary season’s Dead Hollow.
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) – Dread Hollow returns with a promise of a bigger and more frightening experience than last year.
Todd Patton has been in the haunted house business for over 30 years and still finds a new screaming thrill in it each year. Josh Philpott joined in Patton’s efforts to create the scariest haunted house in the Scenic City in 2006 and has been doing it ever since.
Dread Hollow started as “The Haunted Cavern” at Ruby Falls in 2005 through 2016 before it became the hit sensation when it opened in 2017.
What makes Dread Hollow so different from other haunted houses is that it is an immersive experience with a new story line each year. Thrill seekers who went to Dread Hollow last year can expect something entirely new.
This year, they are offering three themed escape rooms and a haunted experience. They are open Thursday through Sunday with various times. On certain days, they offer themed discounts like for date nights or girls’ night out.
