UPDATE: Driver dies after crashing into home on East 14th
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) – Chattanooga Police have released more information on the car that crashed into a home on East 14th Street Saturday killing the driver.
Chattanooga Police have identified the victim as Chadrick R. Sparks, age 22.
According to the Police, the driver was traveling west on East 14th Street at a high rate of speed when he lost control of the vehicle. The Chattanooga Police Department determined that the vehicle left the road and rolled multiple times before crashing into the house at 1024 East 14th Street.
The Chattanooga Police also said Sparks was not wearing a seat belt and was partially ejected during the crash.
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) – Chattanooga Police responded to 1024 East 14th Street this afternoon after a car crashed into the home at that address.
According to Chattanooga Police, the driver of the vehicle was pronounced dead on the scene. The homeowner was home at the time of the wreck but was not injured.
Chattanooga Police will release the name of the driver once the family has been notified.
