CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) — A young woman in Chattanooga is using her love of crepes to serve up some amazing meals in the scenic city.
Adelle Pritchard started her business at just 12 years old. The creperie serves fresh and healthy meals. Her business also has a food truck.
See how Adelle’s Creperie is driving our economy forward.
Ken Pritchard, Adelle’s father said, “A few years ago, my daughter, when she was 12, her name is Adelle, which is the name of the restaurant, she said, ‘dad, why don’t we do a restaurant?’ And specifically, she wanted to do crêpes, because, growing up, we had lots of crêpe parties. It’s kind of an English thing. Mardi Gras, we do in England, we do crêpes. It’s just a thing that we do traditionally. And so, we’ve had it open now for eight years.”
The restaurant has some very traditional options and they have also expanded to try to cater to local taste as well.
Carla Pritchard, Adelle’s mother said, “So, you could get something like the traditional Nutella, strawberry or the mushroom chicken with vegetables. But then, we also have other options like we have one that’s called the Roma that has like roasted tomatoes, sun-dried, tomatoes, pesto, turkey and cheese. And people can create their own with any topping or any filling that they want.”
The company is currently looking to hire more staff. They are located on the southside at 400 East Main Street inside the Granfalloon.
