It was a joint investigation between his office, and the DeKalb County and Marshall County Drug Task Forces.

They raided a home on County road 482 on Monday.

They found 5 pounds of pure Ice Meth, guns, surveillance equipment and $8077 in cash.

They charged 41-year old Marty Glen Taylor with drug trafficking.

Sheriff Harris says “So far this month the DeKalb County Drug Task Force has made 5 trafficking cases with a net worth of $12,000, seized approximately 7 pounds of Ice methamphetamine with a street value of $317,800 and have recovered several stolen items. Our Task Force is doing an outstanding job not only in our County but working with other Counties and Agencies as well. This is why it has been made possible for them to seize this much Ice Methamphetamine. Thanks to the Marshall County Drug Task Force for the help in making this case possible.”
