Dunlap couple on drugs arrested at campsite with stolen items
DUNLAP, Tenn. (WDEF) — Dunlap Police have arrested two people in connection to recent break-ins and thefts around the city.
Officers arrested Shawn Williams and Kaitlyn Williams on Thursday.
The police department had been investigating the break-ins and thefts. They believe these two people are responsible for the crimes.
Dunlap, Sequatchie County and Bledsoe County law enforcement found the two suspects at a campsite on the county line.
Police say the two were intoxicated on drugs when found.
Officers found many stolen belongings in their possession.
Plus, they both had warrants out for their arrest.
Dunlap Police say the two face new charges of burglary and theft of property in Sequatchie County.
They also face new fentanyl-related drug charges in Bledsoe County, according to authorities.
