Dunlap firefighters help driver out of overturned car
DUNLAP, Tenn. (WDEF) — A driver crashed on Fredonia Road in Dunlap Monday night. The driver was inside the upside-down vehicle when Dunlap Volunteer Firefighters arrived.
It happened just before 11 p.m. Eastern time on March 6. Officials said the accident occurred near the intersection with Coca Cola Road.
The Dunlap Fire Department said only one person was involved in the accident.
The car was on its top on the side of the road. Firefighters entered the car to help get the person ready to be removed. Once Puckett EMS arrived, they helped extract the driver and took them to a hospital.
The fire department said the driver did not appear to have life-threatening injuries.
The Tennessee Highway Patrol is investigating the crash. Sequatchie County Sheriff’s Office assisted as well.
