Dunlap home receives extensive fire damage

DUNLAP, Tenn. (WDEF) — A mobile home in Dunlap was severely damaged on Wednesday by fire.

Crews with the Dunlap Fire Department responded to the house fire just before 11 a.m. on Wednesday.

Upon arrival, firefighters said the resident was already out of the home.

However, the front deck and living room was on fire. Firefighters said the house was an older single wide mobile home located on Heard Street.

Crews extinguished the fire, but not before it received extensive damage.

The fire department said it was an accidental fire.
