Dunlap Police receive reports of counterfeit money
DUNLAP, Tenn. (WDEF) – The Dunlap Police Department is asking citizens and merchants to inspect their currency closely.
Police say there have been four recent reports of counterfeit money being passed at local stores.
Most of the bills being passed are 20s, but there has also been a 10 dollar bill sighted.
Blurry print and the texture of the bills are the most obvious signs of counterfeit when inspecting.
