Early voting begins Wednesday in Hamilton County

HAMILTON COUNTY, Tenn. (WDEF) – Early voting started on Wednesday in Hamilton County. 

This early voting period is for citizens to cast their ballot for the Presidential and County Primaries. 

The only contested races in Hamilton County are both Republican. 

Representatives from the Election Commission say people should not wait too late to vote. 

“The important thing is just making sure you vote. Voting is such an important constitutional right that we have,” said Nate Foster, Assistant Administrator of Elections. “It’s very important that voters have their voice heard, so that the people that go to the state legislature and Washington, know what their constituents expect from them.”
