Earth Day field day

CHATTANOOGA, Tennessee (WDEF)-Workforces, in Chattanooga, celebrated earth day through team bonding activities that educated them about the environment.

EPB partnered with Green Spaces to put on several training and team building exercises that not only built team camaraderie but also educated people about recycling and how bees pollinate.
Green Spaces Director of sustainability and events, Madison Rawlings, says the city of Chattanooga has built a lot of its identity by combining fun with environmental care.
“This water sponge game there’s facts about water and the station over here where you are a bee and you learn about habitat and biodiversity. At the end of this game’s field day, there’s actually a field quiz that helps determine who the winner is for the day,” said Rawlings.
This event isn’t just for Chattanooga Corporations. The public is able to come out from 2:00 until 7:00 pm to participate in the games and learn about the environment.
