East Hamilton High School vs. Ooltewah High School

Ooltewah, TN (WDEF) – The battle for White Oak Mountain resumed Friday night as East Hamilton took on cross-town rival Ooltewah.

And the battle for the Hurricanes will be finding a way to score on the Owls defense.

In three games, Ooltewah has yet to allow an opponent to reach double digits on the scoreboard.

Hurricanes did hit the field with some attitude, though after a fumbled punt by the Owls, they are in scoring position.  

They lose me on the play, fake, but I find David Whiteside racing up the side line and onto the score boards for the Hurricanes as they strike first and get some major momentum on their side.

The rain starts coming down, but Hurricane fans have to love the rain right?

Ooltewah on offense, and the weather is affecting the game.

London Elrod just can’t get his pass to go through that wind, and the Owls are forced to punt, but here comes the storm.

That’s not another play on the Hurricanes.

After the delay, both teams are back on the field.

East Hamilton about to punt from their own end zone, it was almost blocked.

Adrian Hall fumbles it first, but gets a hold of it and sees nothing but daylight.

Wave goodbye to Mr. Hall.

He is headed to the end zone to tie this one up at 7 in the first quarter.

Owls really get things going after that delay.

Elrod hooks up with Freeman to put them on top 14 to 7 as they weathered the Hurricanes storm to win 51 to 7.
