EAST RIDGE, Tenn. (WDEF) — The city of East Ridge has officially announced the 3rd Annual East Ridge Community Thanksgiving happening on November 24, 2025.

It will take place at the Camp Jordan Arena on 323 Camp Jordan Parkway from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.

The City of East Ridge and the East Ridge Parks & Recreation Department will be hosting the free community meal, celebrating unity, gratitude, and the spirit of giving.

“The Community Thanksgiving has quickly become a cherished tradition in East Ridge,”

“You don’t have to be an East Ridge resident to attend – Just bring your appetite and your gratitude. This event represents the heart of our city: coming together to share a meal, a smile, and a sense of community.”

– Community Center Supervisor Hannah Spear

Guests are encouraged to register in advance to reserve their meal by scanning the QR code on the event flyer, which can be found below.

Volunteer registration is also encouraged and available on the flyer for anyone interesting in helping with set-up, serving, or cleanup.

The Community Thanksgiving from last year served more than 450 meals with help from dozens of volunteers.

“This is one of those special East Ridge events that reminds us of what community is all about,”

“We’re proud to see it expand each year and to welcome anyone who wants to take part in this season of giving.”

– Administrator of Economic and Community Development Cameron McAllister

Attendees are invited to bring one of the following personal care items to donate if they are able:

  • Shampoo
  • Conditioner

  • Feminine hygiene products

A donation is not required for entry, but is encouraged by the city.
