East Ridge Christmas Parade returning for 2025 holiday season

EAST RIDGE, Tenn. (WDEF) — The City of East Ridge is happy to announce its annual Christmas Parade is returning on Saturday, November 22, 2025!
The parade will be starting at 6:30 p.m.
Ringgold Road will be host to glowing floats, marching bands, holiday characters, and the unmistakable small-town Christmas magic that makes East Ridge shine.
The parade will begin at Germantown Road and Ringgold Road and travel through the heart of East Ridge, and concluding at Ringgold Road and Tombras Avenue.

Local organizations, schools, churches, clubs, and businesses are invited to join the celebration.
Schools are encouraged to participate with creative entries, with cash prizes being awarded to the top three school floats:
- First Place: $300
- Second Place: $200
- Third Place: $100
Float Guidelines are as follows:
- Limit walkers to 10 per float; additional participants may ride.
- Floats may include decorated vehicles, trailers, or flatbeds.
- Lights are required, as this is an evening parade.

In the event of severe weather, the parade will be rescheduled to November 23 at 3:30 p.m.
If severe weather persists, the parade will be cancelled.
