East Ridge Crews Battle Blaze on Frawley Road

Early this morning, a residential fire was reported at 529 Frawley Rd. in East Ridge.

Upon arrival, responders found heavy smoke and fire coming from a single family dwelling.

Fire crews quickly extinguished the blaze.

The occupant self-evacuated prior to the arrival of aid.

Officials say he attempted to extinguish the fire, but was unsuccessful.

The dollar loss is estimated at $ 30,000.
