East Ridge woman arrested for drug possession in AMC parking lot

EAST RIDGE, Tenn. (WDEF) — East Ridge police officers arrested a woman on drug charges at the AMC Theatres parking lot on Sunday.
The police department did not identify the woman they arrested. However, they did charge her with possession of fentanyl for resale and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Officers said they saw the woman in the parking lot, and they noticed drugs and paraphernalia in plain view inside her car.
Police said they then searched the car to find over 76 grams of pressed fentanyl pills. They added that this was 659 dosage units of fentanyl.
Officers also found a variety of paraphernalia and over $1,000 in cash in the car.
