Easter activities around Chattanooga for 2024
COLLEGEDALE, Tenn. (WDEF) — Those looking for Easter activities for families don’t have to look too far. There are several agencies and groups offering public Easter activities, including Easter egg hunts.
Athens
The City of Athens is hosting an Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, March 23. Festivities and the lineup will start at 11:30 a.m., and the egg hunt will start at 12 p.m. at Athens Regional Park. “All ages hunt together,” according to the city. They will hide 12,000 eggs with goodies and prizes.
Bledsoe County
The “Biggest Easter Egg Hunt in the Valley” will take place Saturday, March 30 at the Pikeville Ball Field. It will start at 12 p.m.
Bradley County
Magnolia Market Days will take place March 23-24 at Bradley Square Mall. It will last from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday. There will be over 150 vendors, pictures with the Easter Bunny, inflatables, petting zoo, trackless train rides, animal encounters and food trucks.
Chattanooga
Free Warner Park Easter Egg Hunt and Celebration on March 30.
Collegedale
The Collegedale Police Department is hosting their annual Easter Egg Hunt on Sunday, March 24. It will take place from 1 to 4 p.m. at the ballfields on Little Debbie Parkway.
The event will include concession stands with hot dogs and hamburgers, bouncy houses and an egg hunt. The egg hunt will start at 3 p.m.
Fort Oglethorpe
The City of Fort Oglethorpe is hosting an Easter Egg Scramble on Saturday, March 23 at the Gilbert Stephenson Park at noon. The egg hunt is catered to kids, 5th grade and under. There will be 10,000 eggs and an Easter Bunny meet and greet.
Lafayette
The City of Lafayette will have a Community Egg Hop on Saturday, March 23, starting at 10 a.m. It will take place in Downtown Lafayette, Georgia. There will be 20,000 eggs, inflatables, a petting zoo, Kona Ice, Thomas the Train rides, and Touch a Truck with Lafayette fire and police departments. There will be prize baskets as well.
Paint Rock
The Paint Rock Easter Festival will take place Saturday, March 16 at 2 p.m. CT. There will be food, music and an egg hunt. Organizers ask the public to bring blankets or chairs to sit on.
