Elderly Red Bank woman receives minor burns in house fire
HAMILTON COUNTY, Tenn. (WDEF) — An elderly woman is recovering from minor burns after a house fire on Greenleaf Street Wednesday night.
A neighbor called 911 around 8:30 p.m.
Red Bank firefighters arrived to find the woman was already outside the home.
First responders then took her to the hospital.
The fire got to at least half the home. But fire crews got it under control in less than 20 minutes.
No official word yet how that fire got started.
The fire is still under investigation.
