Elder’s Ace Hardware Joins Forces with the Salvation Army

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF)- Elder’s Ace Hardware Store has decided to join forces with the Salvation Army and support Hurricane Helene Victims.

In support of Hurricane Helene victims, Elder’s Ace Hardware has launched a fundraising campaign to aid the Salvation Army’s disaster relief efforts to help hurricane survivors.

Community members are coming together demonstrating its commitment to supporting each other and those affected by this catastrophic disaster.

From now through October 20th, customers will have the opportunity to help make a difference too, by simply rounding up their purchases at the register or make a personal donation toward the relief efforts.

The stores President, Tom Glenn says, “Our community never fails to come together in times of need. We’re pleased to offer our customers a convenient way to give to the communities devastated by Helene. In addition, our company will also be making a significant donation to the relief efforts.”

Elder’s Ace Hardware’s commitment to making its financial contribution to the disaster relief efforts further demonstrates the company’s long history of giving back to the communities it serves.

“We’re incredibly grateful for Elder’s Ace Hardware support of our community members who are struggling to rebuild their lives upended by Hurricane Helene,” said Bo Sells, Emergency Disaster Services Director for The Salvation Army in Tennessee. “This partnership will help us reach more people in need and provide critical assistance for the long road to recovery.”

The Salvation Army is currently on the ground in East Tennessee, providing food, hydration, and essential recovery supplies to those affected by Hurricane Helene.
