CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) – In honor of the premiere of Call of the Dolphins 3D, Emmy award winning producer and cinematographer Tim Geers will participate in a special screening at the Tennessee Aquarium IMAX.

Tim Geers has won nine Emmy Awards over the course of his 30-year career. For Call of the Dolphins 3D, Geer was the 2nd Unit Director and Co-Producer on the film.

Call of the Dolphins 3D focuses on the relationships between dolphins and people from swimming with them, playing with them, to rescuing them. Tim Geer says, “There’s a reason why people love dolphins. They see themselves in dolphins. Dolphins love their children, they work together in a community, and they’re kind of the embodiment of freedom and joy.”

The film debuts at the Tennessee Aquarium on Friday, February 28 with two daytime showings and one evening showing. The special evening premiere will be at 6:30 P.M. with Tim Geers introducing the film and a Q&A session at the end. Tickets are under $10 with no additional cost for the evening premiere.
