Erlanger North Behavioral Health Hospital celebrates expansion, new beds

Red Bank, Tenn. (WDEF) — Erlanger North Behavioral Health Hospital celebrated the expansion of their new psychiatric facility which includes 48 new beds.

This facility is the first expansion of Erlanger Behavioral Health Hospital, a partnership between Erlanger and Acadia Healthcare.

“This expansion isn’t just about adding beds and adding numbers. it represents a broader commandment to stigmatizing mental health, fostering a culture of understanding and providing compassionate care to those people in need,” says CEO of Erlanger East & North, Tyler Wicks.

The expansion brings the capacity of beds to 144 across the hospitals.

“We are still seeing a growing need for behavioral and mental health care, so having the ability to provide patients with that care will go a long way,” says Wicks.

The additional beds will be in use this December and will provide behavioral health care for adults and geriatric patients.
