Families gather for Chattanooga’s Fun Fair Festival
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) – Families filled the park this past weekend for the City of Chattanooga’s Early Learning Department Fun Fair Festival.
The event featured live music, food trucks, and activities for kids of all ages.
Visitors also had the chance to explore community resources and meet leaders from the health department, AmeriCorps, and the Community Health Access and Navigation in Tennessee program, among others.
Brittany Mcadoo, Parent Family Community Engagement Coordinator, said the goal was to remind residents that support is always available.
“We just want to let them know that we are here. Your community is here to serve you in all areas. This event is just to remind you to be a full support. That’s why the resource vendors are here, that’s why we’re here on this beautiful Saturday, just to remind you we’re here, we care, and we want to bring you amazing things to our community,” Mcadoo said.
The festival brought smiles, laughter, and new knowledge to the community.
Organizers say they hope to continue offering more events like this, filled with live entertainment and family-friendly activities.
