Families took part in the Hour of Code at Chattanooga’s TechTown on Saturday

Chattanooga, TN (WDEF) – It was all about coding at Chattanooga’s TechTown Saturday.
The TechTown Foundation offers something for the community every first Saturday of the month.
And the goal is to get families to do something with technology all together.
We just kicked off National Computer Sciences Week, so today families could drop by for the national Hour of Code initiative.
Cordell Carter, II serves as the CEO & Executive Director of TechTown Chattanooga.  He explained, "We’ve had learners as old as 77 and as young as five today, all doing the same type of training."
More than 300 people turned out Saturday to take part in the Hour of Code initiative.
