Fatal Meigs County crash leaves one dead Thursday morning
MEIGS COUNTY, Tenn. (WDEF) — An early morning crash in Meigs County left one dead Thursday.
TDOT spokesperson Rae Anne Bradley reported the crash.
The report said the crash was located on SR-60 North at Horner Hollow Road.
According to the Tennessee Highway Patrol (THP), A 2006 Nissan Altima was traveling west on SR-60 when veered off the road and into a ditch.
The Altima overturned, striking a sign and a mailbox before coming to a stop.
THP reported that the driver of the Altima received fatal injuries.
The driver was only 24-years-old.
