Father charged with beating his children in Dade County

TRENTON, Georgia (WDEF) – A Rising Fawn man has been charged with abusing his two children.

The victims are an 11 year old boy and a six year old girl.

Kevin Dale Andrews faces charges of cruelty to child cause of excessive physical abuse/ mental pain first degree.

Sheriff Ray Cross says the incident happened Wednesday morning at the family home in Rising Fawn.

The son says the abuse started when he tried to stop his dad from abusing a cat.
