Felon arrested in Cumberland Co. on drug trafficking charges

CUMBERLAND COUNTY — A felon has been arrested in Cumberland County following a traffic stop on a speeding vehicle by a THP Cookeville Trooper and an Interdiction Plus Trooper.

The traffic stop occurred on I-40 in Cumberland County.

According to the Tennessee Highway Patrol, a probable cause search revealed 6 oz of meth, 3 oz crack cocaine and 7 g of marijuana.

They say the driver was a violent felon and was arrested on multiple drug trafficking charges.
