Female suffers severe burns in Soddy Daisy

SODDY DAISY, Tenn. (WDEF) — A female suffered severe burns in Soddy Daisy after a neighbor called 911 reporting a car and camper fire on November 11.

Dallas Bay Volunteer Fire Department responded to the 1800 block of Clift Eldridge Road.

At 2:32 p.m., first engine arrives on the scene confirming a camper and brush fire.

Dallas Bay fire officials find the female with severe burns and immediately request Erlanger Lifeforce to the scene.

HCEMS responded and arrived on the scene to treat the patient and transport the burn victim to the Landing Zone area where Erlanger Lifeforce landed.

The cause of the fire will be under investigation by the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office.
