CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) — Independence Day, or the 4th of July, is coming soon. It’s only about two weeks away, meaning it’s time to decide how you plan to celebrate this year.

Here is a list of Independence Day celebrations in and around Chattanooga, North Georgia and the Tennessee Valley.

Tennessee

Bradley County

Thursday, July 4 – Cleveland’s 4th of July Celebration on Paul Huff Pkwy by Bradley Square Mall. Fireworks begin around 9:15 p.m.

Hamilton County

Wednesday, July 3 – Pops on the River at Coolidge Park. Events begin at 4:30 p.m. and fireworks begin at 9:30 p.m.

Wednesday, July 3 – Collegedale Freedom Festival at The Commons. Events begin at 4 p.m. and fireworks begin at 9:30 p.m.

Wednesday, July 3 – Fireworks at C4 Church. Events begin at 7:30 p.m. and fireworks begin at dark.

Wednesday, July 3 – Signal Mountain fireworks at Mount Carmel Baptist Church at 9:15 p.m.

Thursday, July 4 – Chattanooga Lookouts Independence Day fireworks following the game, which begins at 7:15 p.m.

Saturday, July 6 – Soddy-Daisy Independence Day Celebration at Soddy Lake/North Park.

Saturday, July 6 – Lakesite Freedom Celebration at Dallas Bay Church. Lasts from 6-10 p.m.

Grundy County

Saturday, June 29 – Pelham Valley Fire’s Rocking the Fourth at Pelham Elementary School, starting at 10 a.m.

McMinn County

Thursday, July 4 – Athens 4th of July Fireworks at the Athens Regional Park. Fireworks begin at 9:30 p.m.

Meigs County

Thursday, July 4 – Downtown Summer Nights 4th of July at Meigs County Courthouse in Decatur. Events begin at 5 p.m. and fireworks begin at dark.

Monroe County

Thursday, July 4 – Downtown Sweetwater’s Independence Day Celebration. Parade begins at 6 p.m. and fireworks begin at dark.

Polk County

Saturday, June 29 – 49th annual Miner’s Homecoming in Ducktown. Events begin at 7 a.m. Fireworks begin at 9:30 p.m.

Rhea County

Saturday, June 29 – Shake the Lake Celebration at Veterans Park in Spring City. Begins at 9 a.m. and ends at 10:30 p.m.

Saturday, July 6 – Fireworks on the Water at Eden of the Lakes at Watts Bar in Spring City. Begins at 9:45 p.m.

Saturday, July 6 – Graysville Fire Dept. Freedomfest at Kristopher’s Kingdom. Events begin at 4 p.m. and fireworks begin at dark.

Georgia

Catoosa County

Thursday, July 4 – Lake Winnepesaukah 4th of July Fireworks begin at 10 p.m.

Saturday, July 6 – Catoosa County Fireworks Fest at the Collonade at 264 Catoosa Circle. Festivities begin at 11 a.m. and fireworks begin at 9:30 p.m.

Saturday, July 6 – Brainerd Motorsports Park fireworks at dark.

Chattooga County

Wednesday, July 3 – Summerville Independence Festival and Fireworks at Chattooga County Agricultural Center. Events begin at 4 p.m. and fireworks begin at 10 p.m.

Dade County

Saturday, June 29 – New Salem Fire & Rescue fireworks. Located at 12477 Highway 136, Rising Fawn, GA. Music begins at 7 p.m. and fireworks at dark.

Thursday, July 4 – 1945 Dade County Fair at Jenkins Park in Trenton. Festivities last from 12-10 p.m.

Fannin County

Saturday, June 29 – McCaysville and Copper Basin Independence Day. Events last from 9 a.m.-10 p.m.

Murray County

Friday, June 28 – Eton’s Annual Fireworks Event at Eton Park. Fireworks begin at dark.

Saturday, June 29 – Chatsworth at 745 W. Chestnut St.

Friday, June 28 – Lafayette Freedom Festival at Ross Abney Sports Complex from 5-10 p.m.

Thursday, July 4 – Goose Pond Colony Resort Fireworks. Band begins at 6 p.m. and fireworks begin at 9 p.m.

Sunday, June 30 – Fyffe Freedom Day at Fyffe Town Park from 6-9 p.m.
