Fire on the 1600 Block of Williams Street

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF)- A fire has erupted in the 1600 block of Williams Street.

Firefighters don’t know the cause right now.

Neighbors in the area say there was a big “boom” that happened moments before the fire started.

Over radio traffic there is believed to be propane in the building, but that has not yet been confirmed.

We are told there are numerous tenants of the building, including artists.
