Fire crews respond to Gypsy Lane house fire
OOLTEWAH, Tenn. (WDEF) — The Tri-Community Volunteer Fire Department (TCVFD) responded to a house fire on Gypsy Lane Tuesday afternoon.
A little after 3:00 p.m., TCVFD were dispatched to the scene.
Upon arrival, crews found heavy smoke coming from the house and flames coming up from the roof.
TCVFD deployed a defensive attack, however the house still sustained heavy fire damage.
According to TCVFD, one person was located and transported to a local hospital by Hamilton County EMS.
Crews also located a dog in the garage and returned it to the family.
The cause of the fire has not been released, and the injuries of the person are unknown.
