Fire reported at Opryland Hotel in Nashville

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WDEF) –  Smoke has been billowing out from the OpryLand Hotel over the last hour.

The Nashville Fire Department reports that the fire is now out.

The chief has just told NC 5 that it was a cooking fire.. “a pan got away from a cook.”

They say no one was hurt.

Guests were evacuated, but we have seen posts from people in other ballrooms of the huge facility that were not affected.

On our way to Chattanooga TN for ABWA national conference, we passed the Opryland Hotel in Nashville and saw smoke billowing. Pray everyone is okay.
