Firefighters save burning home near Highway 58
HARRISON, Tenn. (WDEF) — Firefighters are looking into the cause of a house fire on Short Tail Springs Road.
Someone called 911 around 11:30 p.m. on Thursday after noticing a fire on his neighbor’s front porch.
When Highway 58 volunteer firefighters got there, flames in the yard spread toward the house.
Firefighters did save it from burning to the ground.
Crews entered the smoke-filled home and confirmed there was no fire extension or damage to the inside.
They got it under control in less than an hour.
Fortunately, no one was hurt.
The homeowner was even able to still stay in the house after the fire.
