First on 12: Woman accused of multiple sex crimes against a child

WHITFIELD COUNTY, Georgia(WDEF) – A Whitfield County woman is being held without bond after she was arrested for multiple sex crimes.

Shannon Pittman, 41, is facing multiple charges including strong-armed rape and sodomy of a young teenager.

She was taken into custody on Wednesday.

As of 10 A.M, Pittman was still being held without bond.
