Five Hamilton County School Board members not running for reelection

1 of 6 incumbent board members is running again

HAMILTON COUNTY, Tenn. (WDEF) — Of the six Hamilton County School Board members up for reelection, only one is seeking another term.

Jill Black, of District 11, is running again.

However, Rhonda Thurman of District 1, Marco Perez of District 2, Tiffanie Robinson of District 4, Joe Wingate of District 7 and Faye Robinson of District 10 are not running for reelection.

The qualifying deadline for the March 2024 election was Thursday, December 14 at noon.

Other elections

Hamilton County School Board members in districts 3, 5, 6, 8 and 9 were not up for reelection this year.

Three people also qualified to run for the Lookout Mountain School Board. Those are independents Julie G. Fisher, Karen C. Welborn and James T. Williams.
