Food City Holding Job Fair to hire hundreds of workers

CHATTANOOGA (WDEF) – How about a new Job? Or the chance to begin a new career?

The Food city stores are sponsoring a City wide career fair Monday and Tuesday.

It’s going on at all of the stores, with a hiring booth for both full-time and part-time positions.

Jobs like meat cutters, cake decorators, and retail management are especially in demand.

Georgia Laurie is the Assistant manger in St. Elmo.

“we’ll be hiring several people, most for the bakery/deli, cashiers and baggers. We’ll have open interviews today and tomorrow from one til seven. Just come on down.  We’re at 3800 Tennessee Avenues. Come on down to food city and apply for a job.”
