Food Truck Friday is back in Chattanooga
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) — After one year of success, Food Truck Friday is back up and running for all Chattanoogans to enjoy.
Not only do these efforts support local businesses, but they also open up a variety of different lunch cuisines.
The event is hosted by Kitchen Incubator of Chattanooga on the first and third Fridays of each month, excluding the month of January.
This particular Food Truck Friday hosted 13 different food trucks with all sorts of different foods for customers to try.
The organization’s outreach manager, Pat Rowe, says this gives local vendors the opportunity to get more exposure and clientele for their businesses.
“A lot of times we don’t even realize that the same person that’s running that food truck is living in our community. I think it’s just a matter of pulling that all together, giving them the opportunity, giving the community the opportunity and then making it a success all the way around,” said Pat Rowe, Kitchen Incubator of Chattanooga’s outreach manager.
The next Food Truck Friday will be hosted on March 3 from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. at 5704 Marlin Road. It will be just across the street from the Eastgate Library.
