Former Dekalb Co Police Chief Arrested in Connection to House FIre

Fire investigators arrest a former police chief for insurance fraud.
It happened over the weekend in northeast Alabama.

Thomas and Glenn Fuller are the suspects.
They are not related, but did live together in Valley Head, Alabama.
They’ve been charged with insurance fraud after a home burned there last fall.
At the time, Thomas Fuller served as Hammondville police chief.
"Sometimes people feel like they’re above the law or they get a little greedy or if you are a Fire Chief or Police Chief you know that arson’s hard to solve," said Sheriff Jimmy Harriss.
Sheriff Harris says Fuller could be charged with Arson in the future.
