Former Jasper Police officer indicted on intoxication incident

MARION COUNTY, Tenn. (WDEF) —  A TBI investigation led to the indictment of a former Jasper Police officer for an intoxication incident.

The 12th Judicial District Attorney General Courtney Lynch, requested TBI agents investigate allegations of misconduct that involved a Jasper Police officer.

Agents gathered from the investigation that Lillian Michele Lockhart showed up to work intoxicated on July 26, 2024.

Further into the investigation, it was determined that Lockhart responded to calls for service in her police vehicle while intoxicated.

The Marion County Grand Jury returned an indictment on Lockhart, charging her with a DUI and Possession of a Handgun while intoxicated.

Lockhart turned herself into the Marion County Jail last week.

She is being held on a $5,000 bond.
