Former TN District 28 candidate facing gun, drug charges

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) – A Former TN District 28 candidate is facing gun and drug charges.

Brandon Woodruff was arrested on the 16th.

He is charged with possessing a firearm as well as having that firearm while being under the influence.

Woodruff is also charged with possession of controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and driving an unregistered vehicle.

Woodruff recently stood alongside Charles Toney at a press conference addressing the video showing Toney being punched by a sheriff’s deputy.
