Fort Oglethorpe coffee options expanding with 2 new shops
FORT OGLETHORPE, Ga. (WDEF) — There are two new coffee shops coming to Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia this month. The Human Bean opened on Battlefield Parkway on Tuesday, April 9. Scooter’s Coffee opened on Saturday but will soon hold a grand opening event.

The Human Bean is located at 735 Battlefield Parkway. The shop serves coffee, smoothies, teas, energy drinks and breakfast items to-go.
This location is open from 5 a.m. until 8 p.m. every day of the week.
It started as a single coffee shop in Oregon and has expanded nationwide over the past 25 years.
The Human Bean prides itself with exceptional service and treating others like “good human beans,” according to CEO Dan Hawkins.
“We’ve got an excited team who have been training and preparing for this grand opening,” says owner Rikesh Patel. “They’re ready to start sharing the energy here and serve the friendly faces who come through our drive-thru in Fort Oglethorpe.”
Scooter’s Coffee
Scooter’s Coffee will hold its grand opening in Fort Oglethorpe on Friday, April 19.
It is located at 1935 Battlefield Parkway, and opened on Saturday, April 6.
On that Friday, the shop will hold a grand opening, offering buy one get one free drinks to those who order through their mobile app.
This is Scooter’s second Northwest Georgia location, the other one being in Rome. The company also has several in the Chattanooga area.
The shop also serves coffee, tea, smoothies, energy drinks and breakfast items.
Scooter’s Coffee is known for its fast drive-thru service, according to their press release.
This company has also been expanding over the past 25 years.

EDIT: We originally stated that Scooter’s Coffee will open on April 19. Scooter’s has already opened, but it will hold its grand opening on April 19.
