Chattanooga-(WDEF) Wednesday was national signing day for high school athletes, and it appears Chattanooga Christian made school history.
The Chargers had four students sign Division one scholarships.
That’s likely the most D-One signees CCS has ever had in one day.

Johnson’s golfing teammate Scott Stevens signed with South Carolina.
Nicolette Gordon signed a track scholarship to Kentucky for pole vaulting.
And Jaquie Tun signed for gymnastics at West Virginia.
Plenty of diverse sports in the group, especially the pole vaulting from Nicolette Gordon.
Said Gordon,"When I’m not on the track, people look at me funny. Driving down the road with poles on your car. They kind of whisper to each other. So it’s definitely unique. it’s interesting."
Said Johnson,"I’m from Chattanooga. I know all the players and people. I think it was just a really good fit for me."
Said Stevens,"It’s an honor to be able to sign with all these people. We’re all pretty good friends, which is cool."
Added Tun,"It’s exciting. It’s a really big celebration. It’s really a happy time right now."
