Four Chattanooga businesses honored in 2023 chamber awards
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) — The Chattanooga Area Chamber of Commerce honored four local businesses for their 2023 award ceremony.
The chamber awarded top honors to the following local businesses:
- Chattanooga Zoo,
- BNI Southeast Tennessee,
- (Be) Caffeinated,
- Master Machine Inc.
They recognized these small businesses for growth and overall performance.
Out of the 150 businesses that were nominated, these four were chosen by the independent group of volunteers.
The chamber took over a year to carefully evaluate these organizations.
The Chattanooga Zoo is a local nonprofit which has become a top attraction in the Scenic City. They recently added a $10 million African-wildlife expansion.
BNI (Business Network International) Southeast Tennessee is a small company with up to 20 employees. They have contributed $33 million to helping build Chattanooga businesses.
(Be) Caffeinated is a coffee shop in Northshore with up to 50 employees. They grossed more than $1.5 million last year.
Master Machine Inc. is a machining, fabrication and engineering servicing company. They invested over $4 million in expansions over the last few years.
